World Monuments in Microscale
This first exhibition section features 20 extraordinary monuments in microscale. Among these, 15 are original LEGO Architecture sets, each faithfully representing some of the world’s most famous monuments. You can see reproductions of major landmarks from Tokyo, Dubai, Berlin, and even the White House in Washington!
Five of these works were created by Maurizio Lampis, who has masterfully reinterpreted iconic monuments with breathtaking details, such as the microscale version of Piazza San Marco in Venice and the Torre dell’Elefante, the second tallest medieval tower in Cagliari. Additionally, you can see the Twin Towers, the tallest skyscrapers in the world, destroyed during the 9/11 attacks; the Pyramid of Giza, the oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world and the only one to have survived to this day; and finally, the world-famous Big Ben in London.
